Design system test page
A short subhead in larger body text. Notice the generous line-height, the way the serif headline sits above this sans-serif body, the considered spacing.
This is body text at 17px with 1.7 line-height. It should feel calm and authoritative — not crowded, not airy, just right. Notice how the measure (max line width) keeps each line readable. Tier-1 editorial brands use measures around 65-75 characters per line. We're at about 70.
A second paragraph to test rhythm. Inline links use brand color sparingly with a subtle underline that only emphasizes on hover. The body color is ink-700, slightly softer than ink-900, which reads more considered than maximum-contrast black-on-white.
Each size below uses the modular 1.25 scale with hand-tuned letter-spacing:
Display 6xl (~76px)
Display 5xl (~61px)
Display 4xl (~49px)
Heading 3xl (~39px)
Heading 2xl (~31px)
Subhead xl (~25px)
Lead lg (~20px)
Body base (~17px)
Small sm (~14px)
Caption xs (~12px)
Brand color is used as scarcity, not decoration. Most of this page is ink. The brand blue appears only on this CTA:
Take the Executive DiagnosticNo accent yellow, no secondary brand color, no decoration. The discipline is the point.
